CUSTOM PRODUCTS, INC. AND BENCHMARK MFG. TO SPONSOR THE WPF 2000
SPORTSMANSHIP AWARDS

NASHVILLE, TN  MARCH 6, 2000: The World Paintball Federation today announced that CUSTOM PRODUCTS, INC. ( CPI ) and BENCHMARK MANUFACTURING are co-sponsoring the coveted WPF  Sportsmanship Awards to be presented at all six WPF / ZAP Tour 2000 regional tournaments as well as the 2000 WPF / ZAP International Masters. These awards will consist of  C.P.I. custom multi-barrel trophies and Benchmark Mfg. .45 grips .... all customized to suit the winners' equipment.

Dan Kereluk of Custom Products, Inc. has created unique trophies just for the WPF Sportsmanship Awards. The trophies contain multiple barrels, each with a different interior diameter and each customized to fit the recipient's marker. The team receiving the sportsmanship award will receive five of these trophies. In addition, Dave Zander of Benchmark Manufacturing will award .45 grips to the winning team, each also custom fitted to the recipient's marker.

"The World Paintball Federation presents the WPF Sportsmanship Awards to the teams which best exemplify the ideals of sportsmanship, behavior, and attitude as spelled out in the WPF Code of Conduct," says Jim Lively, president of the WPF. " We see these awards as being as important as a first place tournament finish and we recognize the efforts of the recipients as a vital aspect in bringing paintball into the mainstream world of sports."

The WPF requires that all members abide by a code of conduct which reads:
"As a member of the WPF, I believe that:"
* sportsmanship is more important than winning
* my actions must abide by the letter, spirit, and intent of rules governing recreational and competition paintball
* the safety of fellow players, spectators, and officials overrides all other concerns
* paintball is a safe and positive sport
