The Palmer Squall is, in short, a mini version of the Typhoon.  The gun operates on a closed bolt concept.  Palmer released the Squall in Early 1999.  Since then, several people, including myself and a friend of mine have paid the price for the gun.

Performance out of the gun is exceptionally good.  The gun runs off a single 12 gram.  Depending on how you use the 12 gram, you can get up to about 40 shots from it!  Fast shooting, I usually get about 15 shots.  Also the velocity depends on shot count as well.  I usually set my pistol at about 280-285 FPS.  On average, I get about 25 good shots from a 12 gram.

The biggest question so far is "Is it worth the price?" I look at it this way.  If you are serious into Paintball, yes.  If you like custom made items, yes.  If you are big into Palmer's like Rambopreacher, yes.  The gun is worth every single cent.  All I can say is find someone that owns the gun and shoot it.  You will see why its a cool piece to shoot and own.

Here is a close up of the Feed Tube Loading lug. This is pulled foward and locked while paint is loaded into the magazine. On the right, is the feed tube plug.

Here is a picture of the bottom side of the gun. The large empty space is the 12 gram chamber. The lever on the left is the Quicksilver lever. The QuickSilver is Glenn's fast change unit. It is highly reguarded.
