JT Slammer System - Speed Pods

You can use these speed pods with or without
the speed collar. They're easy to open and fit the loading hole of
a Revolution well just on it's own. They're also better to use if
you pass paint to your team mates who are low, the lid won't pop open like
regular pods. The standard sized ones hold 120 rounds and you can
get expansion bottoms which will take the total up to 150 rounds.
These pods are huge with 150 rounds, and I wouldn't recommend upgrading
all your pods to 150. Given that the Revolution only holds 180 rounds
or so you need to be really low on paint to deposit a full 150 round pod
into your Revolution. I personally carry 1 150 and 3 120's in my
JT Harness. That way I have the huge capacity if needed, but usually
the 120's are perfect. You really need to wait to reload until you
know the whole pod will deposit into the Revolution and you can only tell
that with practice. The closure end of the Speed Pod is a bunch of
spikes basically. If you don't empty the whole pod into the Revo,
chances are you'll pierce a ball trying to get your pod out of the collar
making a huge mess that is a royal pain to clean up (take it from me, I
know!). I'd recommend filing off the spikes, I haven't done
it yet but am seriously considering it. I've heard reports of the
sliding mechanism getting full of dirt and it stops working, so far my
pods are all fully operational. Overall I've enjoyed the speed pods
and speed collar setup with my Bushmaster which spits out a heck of a lot
more paint than my autococker ever did. It's nice to refill very
quickly and not even have to glance at what you're doing. It does
take some practice and yes, you have but bust a couple balls to get the
hang of the system. It's a good system overall but not perfect, it
could definitely be improved upon.
