JT Slammer System - Speed Collar

The speed collar is designed to attach to
a Viewloader Revolution hopper. Installation will require some time,
you need remove the standard VL lid, you can do that by taking all the
screws out of the Revo or taking only the ones around the lid until it's
loose enough to pop out. Remove the brass colored mounting bolt out
of the collar and the line it up between the Revo's lid mounts and snap
it in place. You'll notice where the brass mounting collar bolt goes
actually replaces one of the existing Revo case screws. You need
to remove that screw, and then drill a hole through where that screw goes
through the other side. Then you can lock the collar in place, slide
the collar's bolt through and you're locked in and ready to go. The
collar isn't what I would say a great design, i think a fully integrated
hopper would be a better solution. You'll notice first of all your
hopper is bigger, this has a good and bad point. The good point is
your Revo will now hold about 200 rounds, the bad is that you now have
a slightly bigger target sitting on top of your gun. The collar's
lid doesn't snap in place very well, mine being new seems to work but I
see plenty of lids flopping around loose, busted or even missing on the
field. If you look inside the collar there are 4 fins in there that
keep the paint down out of the collar. It's a good design for doing
that, however it sucks for trying to figure out how much paint is in your
hopper now unless you have a clear or gem style Revolution. Also
cleaning your hopper if you get a blow out is much more of a chore now.
Trying to clean with the collar on the Revo is a hassle, the fins get totally
in the way. The best way is to take the whole thing apart, clean
it and put it back together again costing you valuable time. Also
if you're using the speed pods and you're not empty enough to deposit a
whole pod full in, it's very difficult to get the pod out without breaking
a ball. The timer mount is in a good location if you want to use
the JT timer, it's well position for optimal viewing during the game.
