I don't think I've ever worn a more comfortable harness.  It's all neoprene with a Velcro closure in the front.  The back bit has a lumbar support that's removable if needed.  Sometimes by the end of the day my back aches from standing, running etc, haven't had that since using this pack.  The pod holders are pretty flimsy on their own, only the JT rubber bit in the middle really holds the pods in place.  The harness works well holding the pods in place, is quiet and doesn't bounce around like standard packs do.  I've read some people who have had their Slam Pak for a while report the pods don't stay in quite as well after it wears in but so far mine's holding together just fine.  Being fully neoprene too you will get some bounces off of it, which is why the NPPL is crying over the harness right now and it might be banned in the future.  It would be nice if JT made an XL pack that held 8 pods instead of 4, for those long games with insane electro on electro fire fights, you can really eat up the paint quick.   This harness will also work with regular pods and is a great addition to your gear even if you don't want to fully invest in the slammer system.
