Blackstar is an up an coming company, started buy owner, Guy Mangini. Promoting their Wild new Paintball Apparel and Gear, they are taking the paintball community by suprise. With all of their new and exciting designs, they are far from the ordinary paintball wear. With items such as Visors, Beanies, Necprotec, Lanyards, T-shirts, Stickers, and their new and exciting Action Pak (review coming soon), they have what it takes to compete with all the other "yard dogs", even if they are the new kid on the block.
The S-4 Jersey, is constructed of very comfortable Micro Mesh (like what the other jerseys are made of), only nicer. The material is a much finer grade of mesh than the other companies (with more and closer holes), allowing the material to "breathe" alot easier. This not only makes it more pleasant on the hot days, but also allows the moisture and persperation from your body to evaporate quicker. With a unique design, which pretty much covers the whole jersey (except for the a few areas where you can put your name or number), it is definitely eye candy on the field.

For those of you who like to tuck your jerseys in tight, the material stretches very easily, allowing ultimate comfort without rendering or hindering your game. With sizes ranging from Medium, all the way up to XXL, they have sizes for everyone. Currently, the S4 Jerseys are available in Black/Green and Black/Navy, and retails for around $56 US. You can order them direct from Blackstar USA, or pick them up at a local store near you. If you are in Southern California, you can get them exclusively at Check-It Products in West Covina or Santa Ana.

Notice the unique mesh design, which goes all the way up on the side on both sides of the body and arms to the end of the sleeve. Extra pading on the back of the elbow also saves some wear and tear on the elbows, as well as gets alot of bounces (for you tourney players...). With no other jersey like it, you can pretty much say that Blackstar has the Cadillac of jerseys right now, which I'm sure will only be getting better! As far as who's wearing them? You may see Lady's T&A, Heavy Hitters, as well as me
