New Indoor Field In the Tampa Bay, St. Pete Florida area

        There has been a new field opened in the last two months or so in St. Petersburg Florida.  American Paintball is an indoor field which also offers an on-site pro-shop for your convinence.
        The field itself seems to have a dirt floor with hay on top.  The bunkers are made from plywood, hay bales and sandbags.  One end of  the field sports an old ski boat bunker and a "castle", while the other end  has two large box bunkers to stand in and fire from.  The center of the field has a large box bunker that can fit at least 5 people with a sandbag bunker about waist high surrounding it.
        I have found this to be one fun field, it is not a very large field and if the teams reach sizes or over 15 or so I could see it being a bit cramped.  With the chrono speed on the field being 270 you can just about shoot from one end to the other and still have the occasional paintball break.  The refs there are knowledgeable and friendly.   Food and snacks are offered.  Though the proshop is a bit small, they stock a surprising amount of guns and supplies.  The rental guns include spyders and  raptors, and they are capable of filling CO2 and Nitro.  The games tend to be elimination or a defend the large castle game in which one team enters the castle and tries to keep the other from grabbing a flag (which is placed about 10 feet in front of it).  All in all, the few times I have been there, have been fun and a good experience.  I give the field a 4 out of 5
