Dynamic new Los Angeles Production Company, Speedball, LLC (formerly known as I.O.U. One Productions), has launched the project of the FIRST full feature-length film about the sport of Paintball a few month ago with active support from A.P.G. (Action Pursuit Games) and Paintball Magazine (in the USA) and Warpig.com

International publications P.G.I. (Paintball Games International, in UK) and Pok Mag (in France) has given Speedball, LLC a major support by publishing a special report on the film in every  issue.

Speedball, LLC has recently signed a $25,000 cross advertising sponsorship agreement with well-known paintball player and former NPPL World champion Oh Pawlak of Predator Marketing.  As a result of this union, Oh Pawlak’s cyber venture (predator-paintball..com) will begin a year long advertising and marketing campaign for Speedball, the movie.  Speedball, LLC is now accepting offers for product placements in the film.  Sponsors are guaranteed exclusivity, ie no other product will be displayed in the film, only company with product placements/tie-ins will be seen throughout the  movie.

Well-known actors Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa (The Last Emperor, Mortal Kombat, Rising Sun) and Taimak Guari (The Last Dragon) are currently attached to the film.

This feature-length project begins with an eclectic multi-ethnic group of young Paintball players who enters the arena of the World Cup of speedball for the first time attempting to overtake the greatest team in the world and overcoming their own personal troubles and fears with the help of a Zen philosopher /trainer who also, has to came to terms with his own tragic past.

Being the first feature length film about Paintball Sport, Speedball, the movie ’s originality and style will have a great impact on the audience worldwide and create a new type of Action films associated with Paintball. Speedball, the movie has a tremendous potential market for distribution since Paintball is a popular sport in more than 60 countries, and is being played by millions of players in the United States alone. With characters being in their early-twenties, this project also capitalizes on the immense popularity of the current crop of actors who are hot with today’s audiences.  Speedball, the movie represents an unprecedented opportunity for the Paintball Industry.
